Hildegard Essence is a product based and produced according to the Herbology developed by Hildegard von Bingen.

Hildegard von Bingen (1098-1179) was a mystic, herbalist and writer. Raised in the Disibidenberg monastery, later becoming abbess. She founded a new monastery on the Rupertsberg near Bingen aan de Rijn. The significance of Hildegards findings were rediscovered near the end of the last century. Her insights in healing, nourishment, plants and herbs still contribute to a good mental and physical health.
